Before Bluebird Mercantile opened its doors, the space was home to Vertigo Home — a bold, design-forward shop created by founders Chris Oswalt and Martin Ulrich.

Launched in 2009, Vertigo Home is a true labor of love — the intersection of Chris’s passion for textiles and Martin’s clean, modern Danish sensibilities. Vertigo quickly became a destination for uncommon gifts, high-design furniture, lighting, and accessories that felt both elevated and eclectic.

Bluebird Mercantile took over the space in December 2023, but you can still shop Vertigo Home’s collection in-store at Bluebird and online at vertigohome.us.
